Good News Across America 2015

This summer we were able to send 6 of our own missionaries to be a part of Good News Across America (GNAA) in Indianapolis, Indiana. Here is how one of our Summer Missionaries described her experience:

“We joined about 160 other people there and it was really encouraging to meet so many people from across the country who have the same passion to share the Gospel with children! Teams were put together so that you were with people you wouldn’t normally teach with. I had the awesome chance to teach with people from Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee, and even as far as Oregon! After they put your team together, they partner you with a church in the area. My partnering church provided three clubs for us to teach. The clubs were at a trailer park, the pastor’s home, and an apartment complex. All three of my clubs had about 20 kids each. We had an amazing week of fellowship with the kids and teaching them the Gospel! It was a fantastic experience!

On the last Friday, a rally (kind of like a party) was held at the partnering church and the kids from all three clubs were there and a great time was had by all! The kids who came to the 5Day Clubs were able to meet and connect with the church so they could start going to church if they didn’t already and be disciplined! I found that super cool. In the 92 clubs that went on that week, 3,406 kids heard the Gospel and 322 made professions of faith!

My favorite part of GNCA was being able to closely work with the partnering church and helping them connect with the children so that the children could go to church without the fear of not knowing anyone.”
